Chapter 1 The Name Holly Day



Holly Day's mom and dad were a breed all their own at least that was what their owners thought. She is a Chiwawau and Poodle mix. This was the last littler that Holly's mom had and because of that the owners decided to keep all of the pups giving a few to the their kids but mainly keeping them in the family. The owners fussed over the pregnant mommy as though she were human to the point of taking the dogs on vacation with them and indulging the pampered pet with what ever she wanted. They were worried about the mom and couldn't cancel their trip.



Driving along in a fully packed van in the late evening, the pregnant mom started with labored breathing and realizing that the time had come the family found the best place they could to make the soon to be mom comfortable. As the excitement levels grew with every fuzzy head popping out, Holly makes her grand debut in the wee hours of the morning. She is a little bit of a drama queen when it comes to attention grabbing and with six other siblings by the time they got to Holly they ran out of names. Suddenly while looking out the window over the parking lot it was a sign that gave Holly her name. Some say a sign from heaven others say a mystical note from the universe. Still others say it was Davine inspiration. The family said it was The Holiday Inn sign from the Hotel that they were staying. Regardless, she was definitely a Davine gift but that is another chapter.

Here is my first atempt at a blog. I decided to do a blog about my dog Holly Day because no matter where I go she attracks people to her and when I tell them her name everyone wants to know how she got her name. I didn't name her but she came to me out of a small miracle and I am so blessed that she is in my life. She made my life a Holly Day.
